Practique la siguiente conversación:
Student 1: Had the sensor been working properly before the technician checked it?
Student 2: No, it had been sending inaccurate data for hours.
Student 1: That explains why the turbine had been acting weird.
Student 2: Exactly. The whole system had been relying on that sensor.
Student 1: What else had been malfunctioning before the shutdown?
Student 2: The compressor had been overheating, too.
Student 1: And the circuit had been shorting out, right?
Student 2: Yes, it had been causing all sorts of problems.
Student 1: I guess maintenance had not been done properly.
Student 2: Hopefully, it won’t happen again.
Estudiante 1: ¿Había estado funcionando el sensor correctamente antes de que el técnico lo revisara?
Estudiante 2: No, había estado enviando datos inexactos durante horas.
Estudiante 1: Eso explica por qué la turbina había estado actuando de forma extraña.
Estudiante 2: Exacto. Todo el sistema había estado dependiendo de ese sensor.
Estudiante 1: ¿Qué más había estado fallando antes del apagado?
Estudiante 2: El compresor también había estado sobrecalentándose.
Estudiante 1: ¿Y el circuito había estado haciendo cortocircuito, cierto?
Estudiante 2: Sí, había estado causando todo tipo de problemas.
Estudiante 1: Supongo que el mantenimiento no se había hecho correctamente.
