Student 1: Did the doctor tell you to rest after the fracture?
Student 2: Yes, he also recommended that I ice the contusion.
Student 1: I suggested elevating the leg to reduce the hematoma.
Student 2: That’s a good idea. The nurse told me to avoid pressure on the dislocation.
Student 1: She also said that the sprain wasn’t too serious.
Student 2: Still, I recommend resting for a few days.
Student 1: Did she suggest that you cover the wound?
Student 2: Yes, and she recommended cleaning the cut twice daily.
Student 1: I’ll do that too for my laceration.
Student 2: Don’t forget to disinfect the abrasion as well.
Estudiante 1: ¿El doctor te dijo que descansaras después de la fractura?
Estudiante 2: Sí, también recomendó que pusiera hielo sobre la contusión.
Estudiante 1: Sugerí elevar la pierna para reducir el hematoma.
Estudiante 2: Es una buena idea. La enfermera me dijo que evitara presión sobre la dislocación.
Estudiante 1: Ella también dijo que el esguince no era muy grave.
Estudiante 2: Aun así, recomiendo descansar unos días.
Estudiante 1: ¿Ella sugirió que cubrieras la herida?
Estudiante 2: Sí, y recomendó limpiar el corte dos veces al día.
Estudiante 1: Haré lo mismo con mi laceración.
Estudiante 2: No olvides desinfectar también la abrasión.
